Why go back to the Old Testament?
by Lost in the fog inwhy do jws insist on still quoting from the old testament to back up some of their wacky ideas?
such as on blood, beards, abortion, tattoos, etc.
surely if the mosaic law code was nailed to the torture stake all of its parts were cancelled.

Interestingly, Jesus 'words about the" narrow gate " were most likely said for the anointed.Since if it were not so, then all Jehovah's Witnesses would have to accept and from the symbols, as Jesus said. But why do they refer Jesus ' words about the "narrow gate" to all people, and his other words only to the anointed?

How Can the great multitude enter through the "narrow gate" Jesus spoke of? Or should the "narrow gate" refer to the anointed? And a Great many to all the inhabitants of the Earth? But why those who will not enter "the narrow gate" die?

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that if a person has heard about "truth", but did not become a Witness of Jehovah, then he will perish. And all those who for objective reasons could not "know the truth" - will survive.
Although on the official website they write that they do not have the right to decide who will survive the great Disaster.

The Russian version says: "Only if a person is consecrated to God, baptized and will serve Him, he can be saved during the great tribulation (Matthew 24:13)."
When I asked the members of the meeting: does this mean that only active Jehovah's Witnesses will survive the Great Catastrophe? They insistently insisted that no! That God will not kill sincere people. And that he will bring all those whom he pleases to the organization.
